About Me
Most who know me well know that I am an avid photographer and lover of art. I also love to paint, and there is a special place in my heart for the written word. All of that, is what I will share here.

A bit of context for who I am beyond that...I'm full of contradictions. I am a full time engineer with a passion for technology, while I am a self-driven artist with a passion for people. I adore the mountains, while I live in the flatlands. I am a sucker for adventure, while the nearest regional airport is about an hour away. The list of ways I could choose to fill my time and still feel fulfilled is incredibly long...and if I'm honest I am still working on being grateful for that, rather than disappointed that there aren't enough hours of sunlight to do it all.

And with all of these contradictions, in recognizing that I can't give time to each side on each day, I have realized that generally speaking, I do not have to choose. I can and will do both. Now, whether or not I manage this well sort of depends on the day, but the point is I'm working on it. This is a life I am still building.
About W(O/A)NDER
I had the idea of creating this space only recently. And if I'm wildly transparent, I do not have a clue what sort of shape it may take. What I do know is that W(O/A)NDER, however corny or cliché it may sound, takes the often-married acts of physical exploration and reflective thought and gives them a place to live together.

To me, these two things really make sense as one. Wondering is a sort of figurative or mental exercise of wandering. And I've found some of the most profound feelings or thoughts that have drifted into my mind have done so in the context of a journey. I've noticed it while trekking the earth with friends and family, and I've noticed it while discovering new places alone.

There is something truly special about the art that is born from adventure.
